Bio
I grew up in Indiana and spent my early years parking match box cars into film canisters in my grandfather’s camera shop. At twenty-two I made the move to New York City and worked in the fashion industry. During this period I spent most of my time in front of fashion photographers; to name a few, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, and Miles Aldridge. These experiences took me around the world and ultimately led to a re-kindled adoration for the capabilities of the camera as a fine art and storytelling process. My work is captured on both 35mm and medium format film.
You will also notice that I shoot a lot of personal work and I see no reason to separate the two.
My music photography has been featured by the following publications:
Skyscraper Magazine
Paste
Xlr8r
Pitchfork
and numerous others
